~Dear Media,~ (part 2 of the story) P.S. Readers

Someone commented to me in another forum, “The viewer has all the power in the world to decide what they can and cannot see.”

Well that is certainly true, but just because we may choose to turn away from disturbing media in all its vulgar forms, doesn’t mean it stops broadcasting.

Just because you don’t choose to imbibe the kool-aid doesn’t mean it still doesn’t get stirred. Sticking your head in the ground doesn’t stop media storms from blowing up your ass or change the fact that a tree still makes noise when it falls in the forest, even if you’re not there to hear it. The media goes on, like a bad dream, and it doesn’t matter if you think you’re awake or not.

P.P.S.
Nightmares are a reporter’s food for thought. So yeah, you can decide whether to pay attention to the regurgitated madness we call journalism or you can ignore it. One thing is for sure though. Just because some people have rainbows over their heads doesn’t mean they’re not subject to the effects of the media on others. If y’all that naive, slide down that rainbow and tell me you didn’t land in a pot of shit instead of a pot of gold.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Some Love,

~Dear Media,~

Dear Media,

I don’t find it a bad thing if you want to express yourself and create. But you don’t create, you just repeat and regurgitate yourself. It does not respect or inform to keep digging up bodies after they have been buried.

And could you please stop telling our enemies everything we know. They are sitting there going, “Oh, that’s where we fucked up. We won’t do that again…”. Must everything that happens be roadkill to your vulture?

There is so much more I could say that is better left unsaid. But at least, fer gods sake, tell the story right. We are all tired of your half-truths, hype and outright lies. People can, you know, handle the Truth. Or has your truth slipped so far to the back of the bus its ready to fall out?

If you read this letter and find yourself enraged, understand that I find that funny. You have enraged the public for so long, you are laughable. Don’t like me now? Can’t target me anymore? Does that hurt your slimy feelings? I find that funny too.

No Love,

~A Letter To The Other Side~

Dear family, friends and foes,

I write this letter to those of you who have passed on to another plane of existence. I wish to express my gratitude and respect on behalf of the thousands of paranormal investigators and ghost hunters around the world. After many years of research, we still don’t really know why we can see and hear you sometimes and not at others.

I ask that you forgive our errors in learning about your existence. Whether you are earthbound or have moved on to the great beyond, please remember the limitations of physical existence. There are many of us here truly trying to understand and communicate with you. We are letting others know what we are finding out so that they don’t have to be afraid of you.

I want everyone here on the earth plane to remember and understand that you are human beings, have been and always will be. Our perceptions are limited, again by physical laws and when you seemingly pop out of nowhere, we are startled. But if we were not afraid of you when you were in body, why should we be afraid of you now? I suppose if you were violent in body, you are probably not someone I want hanging out in my basement, attic, bedroom, etc.

But I know you wouldn’t be making the effort to communicate with us if you didn’t want us to understand that our soul or consciousness lives on after physical death. You wouldn’t communicate unless you wanted us to know what happened to you and to maybe help you with our, still as yet, limited resources.

I wish to apologize for those who try to provoke you into making your presence known by insulting you and invading your personal belongings. It is just that they want to capture evidence of your existence and since we have to deal with time issues, angering or upsetting you seems to work at times. It is not a good excuse but it is the only one we have.

I want to express my sadness for those of you who seem to remain stuck here on the earthly plane, unwilling or unable to move on. There is greater spiritual development waiting for you and you need not remain here, stuck in the past. Go home now and find your family and friends who passed before and after you. Find peace.

In closing, I again want to extend the utmost respect to you from all the investigators who are serious about finding out how it all works. Although we may appear to be nuts, (stumbling around in the dark, talking to the walls, etc.) to others and maybe even to you, we persevere in our quest for greater understanding.

If there is anything we can do or should be doing to make the communications easier, please try to let us know in the best way you can. I, for one, will continue my research and will be watching and listening closely for any sign of your presence.

Sincerely,
DMG/JRR.

A Mental Challenge – Behavior & Perception

I  watch several criminology shows and some of the paranormal shows and movies now and then. “Getting into” the criminology shows sparked an interest in behavioral science and I’ve begun to dig deeper into the research. I know, it’s a part of psychology…but then again I’ve been researching quantum mechanics in relation to the paranormal. All related or interelated concepts.

When a paranormal investigator asks questions of unseen presences, when he/she asks who, what, where, when and why it is because they want to know the psychology of that presence. And they are generally attempting this without the use of all their senses. You rarely see the entity or feel it’s touch or even hear it at the time of questioning, but you just know it is there. You are picking up on some part of the psychology of that presence. When you lose one or more of your five physical senses then the others become more sensitive, including your sixth sense, and these levels of inner senses and instinct work harder to fill in the missing pieces.

Back to the tv shows.

Most of the time when one of these shows is recording on the DVR, I will have the volume muted and may be off in a daze thinking about something. But occasionally I have found myself watching the show muted only to watch it later with the sound and find that my perceptions and ideas were very close regarding what I believed to be happening in the show and what did actually happen.

Take any show that you watch with regularity, where you know the characters and their personalities and body language then apply this to new characters. Turn the sound off and watch the body language carefully. (You will pick up words anyway if you can read lips). See if you can work out what is going on based on what you can see only.

A bigger challenge lies in just how real it is…try this with things like the news or the weather channel shows, history and documentaries, shows where you don’t know the ‘history’ of the people involved…it’s all fair game in the quest to know why we behave the way we do.

Now watch it again with the volume. How close did you come? How close were your perceptions to what happened in the script and plot of the show?

You will get better at perceiving human psychology and behavior the more you practice this. This then makes you more empathic and sensitive to the people and situations around you all the time. Really look and listen to what is going on in your world. Use all of your senses and open your awareness to the psychology and behavior of others.

You will discover we really are not all that different from one another.

“If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.” ~ William Blake
